Seminar.:)

I opened my twitter account and I have read Aisa’s (@paxieness) tweet about free blogging seminar by Seph and Shai (@lovechic). Since, I’m a newbie in blogging I didn’t hesitate to join the contest for a chance to meet the best bloggers in town and learn at the same time. Luckily, when I opened my twitter account, I won and got an invite for the seminar together with Ayah. Yesterday, I tried to shop for the event but unfortunately, no stores offered low and cheap clothes that will fit my style. I decided to use what clothes available in my closet and it allowed me to wear something nice. I decided to commute since I am not that familiar with the place. I rode a cab but the driver fooled me around the place and the taxi’s fare was too much for a short ride but that’s fine.

As I’ve reached the place, I have the chance to see the Schu store and meet their awesome staff. I was one of the early birds (aside from Darren, Kim and Pamela) so I decided to roam around. The place looks awesome, nice and very organized. I captured shots of the place and here’s what I’ve got:

Of course, I never forgot to introduce my seat mates and they were really superb and nice too. I learned a lot from them most especially on navigating the blog sites and URL’s.

As the couple (Seph and Shai) arrived in the vicinity, everyone settled and looked for their places. We stayed on the center part so we can view the entire slides. I finally met Shai; she was really nice and approachable, same as Seph.

 

The seminar started and everyone was listening for the details. Unfortunately, my digicam’s power turned out so I didn’t have the chance to capture all the photo details. Just let me state the entire scene (in short details). They taught us 4 basic things: 1st, how to start a blog. 2nd, what are the things we must remember on blogging. 3rd, what must be the attitude towards people and blogging. Lastly, what must be the goals, importance and inspirations on blogging.  So there, it’s around 4:30 when the seminar ended. Everyone’s really happy on what they learned. Schu also provided free gift certificates for those who participated (unfortunately, I didn’t won anything but that’s fine). By the way, here’s another picture of Seph and Shai:

I had the chance to meet Sarah Tirona (Ms. Eggplants Chronicles) and Paul (the PR guy). They were awesome too. The day never ended without picture taking with Seph and Shai plus the entire outfits of everyone. Everyone’s awesome that day and I am really thankful that I’ve met them.
